About Juha Arffman

I am experienced software developer in the information technology, last 15 years remotely, maintaining and developing ERP and CRM solutions. My entire career I have been working with relational databases mostly using Microsoft Sql Server. The last few years my role in development team has been database specialist where I have e.g. created and optimized Transact-SQL (T-SQL) queries/procedures, implemented integration functionalities using REST, created data import/export xml data for external integration services among many other tasks. Along with the database development I have been doing maintenance tasks using Java and C#. Version control tools like SVN and Git got familiar here. My current position is technical consultant for Dynamics 365 Business Central / Dynamics NAV & LS Retail ERP solutions. I am interested in to learn more and to improve and deepen my skills. Now I am aiming to study more about cloud services (Azure/AWS) along C# programming but I am all open to other technologies too. I have been in the information technology business over 20 years. I have graduated as Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) focused in Computer Science from Kajaani University of Applied Sciences (KAMK) Before that I graduated from the same school as BBA focused in domestic marketing in 1996. My leisure time is filled with many hobbies such as tennis, golf, fishing, alpine and telemark skiing. I consider myself as open team worker and easy to get along with.
