Julaine Smith, CPA and author, leads Ametra Advisors, a small business accounting firm, as well as the G Corporation Incubator, a virtual ecosystem of coaches, consultants, advisors and training resources for Christian women who are starting new businesses and changing the world of business. She's worked with start-ups and large enterprises, led strategic planning, accounting, and financial management teams, served as division CFO for AT & T Broadband, Operations Controller for InterMedia Management, Inc, and Director of Technical Accounting for Pacific Telesis Group. She participated in the management of numerous mergers, acquisitions and capital raises, including a $700 million initial public offering. Julaine co-owned and operated The Wellington, a Seattle soul-food restaurant, and she is a former radio talk show host on KGNW 820 AM and KKOL 1300 AM in Seattle. Smith currently serves on several boards including for FareStart, a Seattle-based social enterprise, Providence Heights, and on the Advisory Board for Northwest University’s School of Business and Management. She is a former board member and chairperson of the coaching committee for the angel investment group, Seraph Capital Forum. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration-Accounting from California State University, Hayward (East Bay) and completed her experience to become certified as a public accountant at Price Waterhouse in San Francisco.
