About Jules Gribble

Dr Jules Gribble is a qualified actuary with over 30 years of experience in financial services. Currently, he is a principal with PFS Consulting, an Actuarial Educator with the Actuaries Institute of Australia, and a director of Lifetime Income. Previously he was a Senior Policy Advisor at the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) for 6 years. Jules has worked in many areas including the provision of business consulting and actuarially related services in superannuation (pensions), insurance, and banking. Jules supports decision makers make more informed decisions by giving them better insights into business matters with uncertain future outcomes. Jules main areas of interest include- Risk management, governance, modeling, and investment product unit pricing- Retirement, taking a holistic approach. This recognises the need for secure lifelong income and managing the impact sof aging. This drives the challenge of efficiently providing services to retirees funded by pension/superannuation savings for their remaining lifetime- Professional capacity building and training for both actuarial education and developing international supervisory capacity in the financial services.
