About Julia Ackerman
Hi! I graduated from Arizona State University in 2021 with my Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences, and then again in 2023 with my Master’s in Communication Disorders. Throughout my schooling I have had experience in the areas of phonology, fluency, voice, articulation, accent modification, and Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). I have an increased interest in ASD, and was an IMPACT (Interdisciplinary Multicultural Professional Autism Clinical Training) scholar. I am currently completing my Clinical Fellowship year in the Gilbert Public School district at Finley Farms Elementary, with a caseload primarily consisting of students in preschool- 5th grade with ASD.
