About Julia Baun

For over 15 years, I’ve worked at the intersection of people, purpose, and strategy, helping organizations across international development, health tech, defense, and the nonprofit sector build stronger teams and more sustainable operations. In the past 8 years, I’ve built inclusive, scalable hiring systems and led recruitment across a $1B+ portfolio of programs and business development efforts, managing teams and hiring in the U.S, Europe, Asia, Africa, MENA, and Latin America. Earlier in my career, I directed complex, multimillion-dollar initiatives in post-conflict and resource-constrained environments, partnering with governments, donors, and communities to deliver measurable outcomes in governance, health, and education. My work has included training hundreds of staff in structured interviewing, co-developed DEI hiring frameworks, and working closely with executives to align talent strategy with organizational growth. I’m especially energized by roles that align values with action, bringing together mission-driven teams to create lasting impact and meaningful growth.
