About Julia Belcastro

I am a passionate physiotherapy student currently enrolled in Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Physiotherapy Practice at La Trobe University, Bundoora. I am currently completing my fourth year. I have developed a strong inclination towards musculoskeletal physiotherapy and women’s health. I believe in a holistic view to health and I am passionate about health care, recovery, and health maintenance. I have completed a bachelor of science in 2019, majoring in physiology and developmental biology at Monash University. This allowed me to deepen my understanding of the human body and pursue my physiotherapy journey. Since then, I have completed a voluntary shadowing position at Hillcrest health centre, shadowing physiotherapist, Mr Suresh Takyar. This deepened my appreciation of the health care system centred around helping people improve their lives and capabilities. Throughout my university journey at La Trobe, I have been able to maintain a high distinction average, and I believe this is a testament to my hard working and dedicated nature. I am motivated and a strong believer in lifelong learning. I am open to learn and experience new things, whilst adapting to challenges that may arise. of work hours, I love to bake and garden. I am currently expanding my collection of succulents. I also enjoy going to the gym and long walks at my local wildlife park.
