About Julia Bougourd

Hi I'm Julia! I'm originally from the UK and have now become a permanent resident, after 3 years living in Canada. I decided to settle in Vancouver after 4 years of travelling and living in Australia and New Zealand. ‍I've spent the last 10 years working in roles in varying industries, taking particular interest in the public health and finance side of things in the last 3 years. I feel most fulfilled in my job when building relationships, advocating for and supporting connections between various parties, organisations or communities. Problem solving is one of my greatest strengths and something I find truly satisfying, identifying areas of improvement and implementing strategic changes. I’m always taking on new challenges and finding opportunities for learning wherever possible. Outside of work I'm a foodie, a coffee drinker, dog person, gym goer and love a good craft night. I love making the most of the many things Vancouver has to offer, mountains, beaches and the plethora of restaurants in Vancouver.
