About Julia Buhr

As a Human Resources Specialist at Catholic Charities Disabilities Services, I applied my psychology and human resources background to support the organization's mission of providing services to people with disabilities. I was responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and new employee benefits enrollment. I also contributed to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. I currently have my SHRM-CP certification and have completed courses in Generative AI in HR and Payroll. I am passionate about using technology to enhance HR processes and improve employee experience. I am also interested in exploring the potential applications of generative AI in HR, such as automating routine tasks, improving communication, and enhancing decision-making. My goal is to leverage my skills and knowledge to make a positive impact in the HR field.
