About Julia C. Lund

I am a senior Global HR Partner with 15+ years of experience across three Danish universities (University of Copenhagen, Copenhagen Business School, Roskilde University). My background combines international HR, global mobility, management consulting, process optimisation and intercultural communication, giving me a unique ability to design sustainable HR solutions in complex, international environments. At Roskilde University I have been responsible for the entire scope of international HR – covering global mobility, compliance, onboarding and well-being of nearly 300 internationals – as well as representing the university in 12 national and international HR networks. My work has included developing digitalised processes, building compliance frameworks aligned with EU social security law, and leading complex mobility cases that safeguarded both employees and the institution.I also have a track record in consulting and teaching: I hold a Process Consultant qualification from DTU, have taught intercultural communication at Copenhagen Business School for more than 15 years, and contributed to national initiatives such as Scholars at Risk, raising funding for academic support. Recently, I have added an AI Instructor certification, focusing on how artificial intelligence can support sustainable HR and the future of work.
