About Julia Carr

At Anglia Ruskin University, I utilise extensive expertise in public speaking and stakeholder engagement to foster community relations and support educational initiatives. My work embeds community organizing into the institution, enhancing Anglia Ruskin's positive engagement with diverse communities. In addition to my Community Organising work, my role as a Senior Lecturer, contributes to shaping the educational journey of our students, ensuring a transformative experience through innovative course leadership. Serving on the Board of Trustees for PACT for Autism, involves building vital stakeholder relationships, advancing awareness and developing long-term strategies for individuals with autism. Across all my work, my commitment to social justice and equity is woven into my collaboration with government, community organisations, and health and social care professionals, striving for impactful policy influence and the betterment of educational and social environments.
