About Julia Costa
I recently graduated with a degree in Geological Engineering from the University of British Columbia and am currently studying and working abroad in Japan. I have a passion for geotechnical and geohazard engineering, geomorphology and geophysics.I have completed 16 months of Co-op in geotechnical and geohazard engineering consulting. During this time, I have gained experience in site investigations (drilling, dcpt and test pit), geotechnical report and memorandum preparation, drafting site plans in AutoCAD, providing on-site recommendations/comments and client/contractor coordination. I take pride in producing high quality work and enjoy taking on new challenges. I am very excited for the opportunity to learn and develop my skillset in any workplace.Outside of work and school, I love being outdoors, playing sports, cooking and spending quality time with my family and friends.
