About Julia Davis

I am currently a third year medical student at LECOM. I have two years previous experience as an Emergency Medical Technician Basic and about eight years experience with volunteering abroad and locally, I have many diverse interests as it pertains to future careers. I have worked as an EMT-B for two years, volunteered in special needs facilities in Harmons, Jamaica and Arusha, Tanzania, volunteered regularly at my church's monthly food bank/clothes closet, and gotten to volunteer in the VA hospitals and Westmoreland Regional Hospital to provide emotional support for the patients there. From these experiences, as well as many others, I have had to develop and integrate better interpersonal skills, a professional demeanor and adaptability into my daily life. I have a bachelors degree in Spanish and Hispanic studies from John Carroll University. Thank you for reviewing my credentials, I hope this passage serves to give a little insight into my qualifications, various interests and how much I care about my work as well. As an EMT, student, and missionary, I feel I have been working my whole life to make an impact and do something more. I truly believe that hard work and passion for whatever one is working on can lead to a quick learner and an exemplary job well done!
