Background
About Julia Delapp
I have more than 25 years of experience in early childhood education professional development and policy work, and 18 years of experience directing an early childhood research institute within a university. These experiences have helped me develop strong leadership, strategic planning, budget management, project management, professional development, meeting planning and facilitation, research, and grant writing skills. In 2023, I was asked to draw on these skills to launch a new center for teaching and learning at our university, carrying out an institutional priority to support excellence in teaching. I enjoy coming up with creative solutions to problems, and I'm passionate about identifying, building on, and spotlighting the strengths of teachers and faculty.
