I lead the Immunomics group at Microsoft Research, using AI to probe one of the most exciting systems in biology: the immune system. Our team was among the first to deeply combine modern machine learning with immune biology, including the Antigen Map Project, a long-term Microsoft Research–Adaptive Biotechnologies collaboration decoding T-cell signatures of disease for diagnosis and treatment. I’m an experienced research scientist and leader who thrives on cross-disciplinary collaboration, enjoys pulling tools from across computing and biology, and is passionate about AI4Biology methods that bridge real-world biology with state-of-the-art ML and statistics.
