About Julia Guindon

I am a young professional seeking the opportunity to invigorate any work environment with fresh eyes and a new perspective. I have a well-rounded range of knowledge from my previous work opportunities and experiences. I am a diligent worker and enthusiastic to better the spaces I inhabit.I graduated from Pennsylvania State University where I studied Communications with a minor in Women's Studies. I am a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual looking to further my experience in the professional world. My interests include Human Resources, Communications, Political Science, and Arts Management.My previous experiences include working for Congressman Michael Fitzpatrick's District Office in my native Bucks County for the summers of 2015 and 2016. In the Fall of 2016, I participated with a select few in Penn State's Washington D.C. Program where I interned at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as part of the Explore the Arts team. I participated in the Disney College Program at Walt Disney World in Orlando for the Spring 2017 semester. I was an Attractions Hostess at the very popular attraction Space Mountain, in addition to taking a full semester of classes through Penn State's World Campus, I also participated in Disney's Exploration Seminar on Human Resources and Cast Engagement, a career I am very interested in pursuing. I began my second College Program in May 2018, where I was a Children's Activities Hostess at Disney's Contemporary Resort and Bay Lake Tower. After completing my second Disney College Program, I began working as a Disney Vacation Club Advisor with the Walt Disney Company. I have been fortunate to fall in love with all the places I have worked and lived, so I am constantly seeking new opportunities and ventures. I look forward to all the possibilities that my hard work and passion bring me.
