About Julia Hallman

My name is Julia Hallman and I am a recent graduate of Elon University where I earned a B.A. in Cinema & Television Arts and Communication Design, as well as minored in Photography. I am currently a Client Services Specialist at Motion City Media located in Asbury Park, NJ. I am a passionate storyteller who channels creativity through the lens of photography, the magic of film, and the visual language of graphic design. Through my work, I seek to evoke emotions, ignite imagination, and transport viewers into the heart of each story, truly bringing my narratives to life. I enjoy working with motion blur, vintage aesthetics, and interesting color schemes. From a young age I have had a love for the arts and creativity, and my programs at Elon University and Academia Europea di Firenze, as well as multiple internships, short films, and documentaries, have allowed me to develop my portfolio and prepared me to share my creativity in the entertainment and design spaces.
