About Julia Hancock

I am able to drive and have my own car. I am generally a happy, outgoing and hard working person. I work well under pressure and I enjoy a challenge. With strong organisational and interpersonal skills, I am able to deal with people at all levels of business. I have a good all round knowledge of most office equipment and various computer systems and I am a quick learner. I am a confident person who will make decisions where necessary, I can be innovative and able to motivate others. With sound sales, purchasing and basic accounting skills, I can turn my hand to most administrative duties and I work efficiently and effectively either by myself or as part of a team. Before moving into administrative duties, I pursued a more leisure/sports related career which involved dealing with the public, school children and business organisations; arranging functions, outreach sport programmes and coaching. On a voluntary basis, I managed a small group of children with special needs to encourage confidence in themselves and to work as part of a team, using challenges and fun activities as part of the Worcester Special Olympics. This also involved interacting with the parents to summarise their child’s progression and suggest ideas for improvements for specific skill sets at home.
