About Julia Harper

I’m a technophile and communication enthusiast who's fascinated by information technology and digital media infrastructures and enjoys being able to apply my creative problem-solving skills. Over the past few years, I’ve been improving my technical and digital media skills by working on projects that involve troubleshooting, website maintenance, and content promotion. While working as a Corporate Trainer at Glorified Inc, I learned the concept of the internet of things (IoT) and was quickly able to market and sell home security devices. I then received a promotion to a position of increased responsibilities where I interviewed, hired, trained, and developed six other marketing team professionals. Additionally, working for JPRG Radio has enabled me to further prove my ability to design and maintain a company’s website using WordPress, Photoshop, Canva, and Google Analytics after previously learning the craft when I was a freelance writer. Lastly, I’ve been able to take what I’ve learned from my IT training and troubleshoot software and hardware issues with desktop computers and laptops. Outside of my world of wearing many hats, when I'm not performing notary signings, working on web design, digital marketing, or troubleshooting something, I love to write poems/songs and spend time with family and friends. It allows me to stay creative in a different environment.
