About Julia Hill

Across three decades of legal professional experience, and with nearly a quarter-century at Eli Lilly and Company, I have worked in various capacities including pre-clinical IP contracting, global IP litigation project management, global legal operations, global procurement, US payer contracting and value-based agreements, and am now leading the Service Management Team within the Patient Engagement: Access & Retention organization overseeing daily operations for vendor management in support of clinical trial patient engagement, recruitment and retention. All of my roles at Lilly have centered around various types of contracting, project and vendor management, operational process and systems development and oversight, and supervision of various teams that support those business functions. I have developed a wide array of professional skills that include the following: operational infrastructure assessment; needs/gap analysis, risk assessments and development/implementation of practical business solutions; operational efficiency & productivity enhancement; operational system and business process administration and oversight; staff supervision including recruiting, onboarding, coaching, development, workload distribution and prioritization, and resource allocation; identification, management and prioritization of departmental projects; Development and maintenance of key business relationships with internal and external colleagues to create a vast resource network; organizational change management planning and execution and Six Sigma core team experience; Contract analysis and negotiation; SOP and process development including creation of training and communication materials needed for implementation; Both large- and small-scale presentations and public speaking experience.
