About Julia Jameson

I have a diverse professional background. I worked in the non-profit sector for the Interfaith Council of Southern Nevada, an organization that promotes dialogue across faith and ideological traditions. As a Project Manager and Executive Director there, I worked to plan events such as Camp Anytown, a camp that promotes diversity and dialogue around race, class, and gender, The Interfaith Fall Forums, and the Mayors Prayer Breakfast. During Graduate School, I worked as both a Teaching Assistant and the Graduate Program Assistant. For my position as Graduate Program Assistant, I acted as liaison between the director and the students in the program. I facilitated weekly schedules, managed students budgets, and helped to resolve issues within the program. As a Teaching Assistant, I taught Printmaking, Art History and Drawing. I worked with the professor to organize class's online platform, I helped students one-on-one, and assisted with anything the professor needed. I graduated as a Masters of Fine Art from the Hoffberger School of Painting at Maryland Institute College of Art in May, 2019. Afterward, I attended an art residency program, The Art Farm Nebraska, and traveled to Australia. In November, 2019 I moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico to be part of the art community here. Currently, I am a working artist and graphic designer. I am interested in the intersection of painting and spirituality. Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.
