Collaborative, entrepreneurial, advancement professional with a portfolio of successful marketing communications and fund development experience applied her skills and talents as the Development Director for an innovative, growing, civic-minded non-profit organization: The Rhode Island Free Clinic. Notable contributions included: designing and completing the Clinic's debt retirement campaign in the first six months on the job; increasing Board engagement and giving; personalizing and improving the impact and response rate of the annual appeal; engaging the pro-bono services of the largest PR firm in RI to develop and implement a successful public relations and social media campaign; leading a new website launch to increase awareness and engagement of volunteers, community partners and donors; formalizing corporate relationships to reduce the Clinic's operating expenses while maintaining and expanding patient services and programs; transitioning and implementing a new donor database to improve information integrity and reporting accuracy; enlisting the expertise of an active event planning committee to exponentially build the social capital and financial success of the Clinic's annual fundraising event; designing, introducing and building the membership of a new multiple-year giving society with a matching incentive to double and triple the financial impact of loyal donors who will soon provide 25% of the Clinic's annual operating budget. The RI Free Clinic provides free comprehensive health care and wellness education to uninsured adults in Rhode Island, thanks to more than 700 volunteers and the charitable contributions of community partners, foundations and individuals who share our belief that everyone deserves health care.
