About Julia Khusnutdinova
Julia received her BSc degree in chemistry from Kazan State University in 2003. She then joined the group of Prof. Vedernikov at the University of Maryland, where she worked on aerobic reactivity of organoplatinum complexes and completed her Ph.D. degree in 2009. Julia then moved to Washington University, where she worked with Prof. Mirica, isolating novel complexes. In 2012 Julia joined the group of Prof. David Milstein at the Weizmann Institute of Science as a Dean of Faculty postdoctoral fellow working on carbon dioxide conversion to methanol and atom-economical transformations catalyzed by Ru pincer complexes. Julia Khusnutdinova joined OIST in May 2015 as an assistant professor leading the Coordination Chemistry and Catalysis Unit.
