About Julia Lima

I wear many hats.I'm an experienced educator, with 10+ years of classroom, school management, material writing and teacher training background. I definitely learned a lot by teaching English, Portuguese and German to kids, teens and adults. Also very important to my personal and professional growth was becoming (at a young age) a manager and educational coordinator at two branches of an important language center in São Paulo, responsible for around 550 learns and 20+ teachers.In 2019, I transitioned away from the classroom and into the editorial world, working as a Ghost Writer in Germany, a Freelancer Material Writer in Brazil and a Content Creator in both countries. Being a "Wordsmith" brings me joy and motivates me to engage in courses, conferences and events in the field, to become an even more skilled professional.Finally, I have a B.A. in Languages, Linguistics and Literature (Portuguese and German) and am pursuing an M.A. in Interdisciplinary Latin American Studies at Freie Universität Berlin, with focus on Gender, Sexuality and Immigration. I am also a Celta, CPE and TKT holder.My goal is to combine my expertise in all these areas into meaningful, inclusive and innovative work, that allows me to be creative, solution-oriented and impactful.
