About Julia Locus-Baham

With over 14 years of experience in quality systems and document management, I am a passionate and dedicated leader in the pharmaceutical industry. As the Associate Quality Director, Document Management Systems at Exelixis, I oversee the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the electronic document management system (EDMS) and the quality management system (QMS) for the company. I ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices, as well as alignment with the company's vision, mission, and values. I also manage a team of quality professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to foster a culture of excellence and collaboration. Prior to joining Exelixis, I was the Senior Manager, Quality Systems at Odonate Therapeutics, where I led the development, execution, and optimization of the QMS for the clinical development and commercialization of oncology drugs. I also worked as the QMS Manager for Radiology Informatics at Philips, where I supported the QMS integration and harmonization for the global radiology informatics business. I have extensive knowledge and skills in quality risk management, pharmaceuticals, quality auditing, and document management systems. I hold an ASQ Certified Quality Auditor credential and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Colorado Denver.
