About Julia Malloy

I enjoy working in the challenging and dynamic environment of a Level One trauma center with the Trauma Department. My position involves stabilization, acute and inpatient management of the complex trauma population alongside the trauma surgeon. I have established a trauma survivor's support group to assist our patients in their recovery after the life-altering events of their injury. I continue to lead our department in research and establishing the most up to date and evidence based protocols in areas such as TBI and delirium. From 2012 to 2017, I worked as an ED RN. In addition to obtaining multiple additional certifications (TNCC, TNS, ECRN, CEN), I served as charge nurse and unit educator. I am also proficient at ultrasound guided IV insertions as well. I enjoy being a resource for others and seeking out educational opportunities. It is always my priority to increase my knowledge and provide others with the opportunity to due so.
