About Julia McPherson

As a Principal at Warren and Mahoney, I lead established team of interior designers in our Wellington studio and contribute to projects across our studios. I also co-lead our Hotel, Hospitality and Retail sector, where our team shape environments that focus on guest experience and commercial performance. I’m a staunch Wellingtonian, passionate about this city—its huge character, its potential, and fronting up to the challenges it faces. I’m committed to contributing to design solutions that help Wellington to thrive, and creating spaces that reflect and support the communities who live and work here. With a strong workplace specialism and broad client base, I’ve built deep expertise in workplace strategy and design. Many of my projects have been award-winning and delivered for repeat clients. My approach is grounded in collaboration. Wanting to design the workplace with clients not for them.
