In the past I have always believed that leaders like general managers and CEOs are born with leadership potential. I've always thought of them as having their own instincts and intuitions that go about their day-to-day work. But later I found out that this view is completely wrong. The high-ranking leaders we admire are ordinary people like you and me, and they are afraid and panic in this position. The difference is that the leaders we admire are quietly accumulating strength and allowing themselves to grow continuously. You think it's easy for them to make decisions, but if you lead, you realize that even if they are successful in their leadership role, they will encounter all kinds of difficulties and setbacks in the process, just like you and me. The difference is that they face these setbacks positively and take action to overcome each difficulty. Even if they have fear and worry in the process, the key point is that they will face all kinds of challenges without retreating.
