About Julia Morrison

Julia Morrison is a seasoned litigation attorney with over 15 years of experience in insurance defense. Throughout her career, she represented a wide range of clients—including contractors, small and large businesses, retailers, landscapers, and municipalities—in matters of products liability, premises liability, and construction defect claims, gaining deep insight into the legal challenges faced by diverse industries. A zealous advocate for the defense of her clients, she’s built her reputation on a foundation of avid listening, research, writing, and oral advocacy. After more than a decade practicing as a civil litigator, Julia transitioned into her current role as a Litigation Consultant at Magna Legal Services, where she specializes in witness preparation. She leverages the "PowerWitness" approach to witness preparation, originally developed by CogentEdge, to help witnesses prepare for depositions, licensing hearings, and trial. Her work empowers clients to understand their role in the legal process, communicate confidently, and tell their whole truth effectively. With Magna Legal Services, Julia also performs jury related work including mock trial/focus group moderation and reporting, virtual jury research, and shadow jury support. Julia earned her Bachelor of Arts from Boston College in 2003 and her Juris Doctor from Penn State University’s Dickinson School of Law in 2009. She brings both strategic insight and compassionate guidance to her work, helping legal teams and their clients succeed in high-stakes environments. When Julia is not helping clients achieve their best results, Julia enjoys painting, running, touring the world (Julia has lived in Hong Kong and Shanghai), and cheering on her two children.
