About Julia Ryle

At the end of Summer 2015, I received my BA from Auburn University in Interdisciplinary Studies. I combined Animal Science, Philanthropy and Nonprofit, and Psychology to form a major that I will help me in my career. Since I was just a toddler, I have dreamed of working with animals. Although my dreams shifted from wanting to become a Veterinarian, I am still very passionate about working with animals at all capacities. In middle and high school, I would spend most of my free time, after school, soccer, and BEST Robotics competitions, volunteering or working at the local Humane Society. Now, as a young adult, I work as the Head Receptionist at South College Veterinary Clinic where I in charge of client communication and patient care. There are two main tasks I am involved with as well. I started and manage our Online Pharmacy in partnership with Vets First Choice. This has provide a lot of our clients with the ability to have their products delivered to their homes from families to students, as well as offering a wider variety of products to choose from. The other task I am involved with is our communication and planning with our local Humane Society, Lee County Humane Society. Each year we team up with the Humane Society to help decrease the over population of cats and dogs by providing the shelter with care and treatment of special cases as well as annual vaccinations, spays, and neuters. Because of the relationship I have developed with the Lee County Humane Society, I often find myself there helping with intakes on the weekends. Despite my time with an abundance of animals, I still manage to find time to spend with my boyfriend, Will, as well as my 4 cats, Ryder, Percy, Stiles, and Beasty and the 2 dogs Benjamin and Ottis.
