I'm Julia Solórzano, a design operations leader with expertise in scaling design practices, UX strategy, and cross-functional collaboration. At Esri, I establish and document standards for design process and quality across ArcGIS software teams, building operational foundations that enable consistent user experiences. I strategically focus on tools and information exchange to increase operational efficiency, helping designers implement their work more effectively and leaders focus on strategic initiatives. Previously, I served as Branch Chief of User Experience at Login.gov, directing a 20-person UX team supporting 30+ federal agencies. My experience spans both government and private sectors, including scaling design operations at Zapier and co-founding the U.S. Web Design System now used by 100+ agencies. I'm passionate about building strategic partnerships, mentoring design teams, and creating scalable design systems that deliver intuitive, high-impact digital experiences.
