About Julia Saad
I started out wanting to be a writer, and through writing, I learned that I loved the idea of teaching. Through teaching, I learned that I loved helping. Through my studies in counseling, I hope to learn how to integrate teaching, writing, and helping in a sustainable, healthy way. After my counseling internship in 2026, I am hoping to transition into the role of therapist/psychologist. My experience as a Learning Coach with Edmonton Catholic Schools will help inform my practice through the work I have done with students experiencing challenges with their mental wellness, environment and/or academics. I am passionate about working with children and adolescents. I am also passionate about helping people take control of the narratives of their lives and learn about their authentic, unique stories.
