About Julia Sager

My mission is to protect the health and safety of workers and communities, while supporting innovation and discovery in science and technology.institution that creates innovative materials for energy solutions. As a Certified Industrial Hygienist and a Certified Safety Professional, I have a strong background in industrial hygiene, chemical safety, and environmental compliance work. Over my long and varied career I have applied my expertise as a senior consultant for national consulting firms, a campus chemical hygiene officer for a large university, and an expert witness for toxic tort cases. My most recent full time job was as the Lead Industrial Hygienist for the Ames National Laboratory, one of the Department of Energy National Laboratories creating materials and process for securing our nation's energy future. Soon, I will apply my experiences in an entirely new environment, educating the next generation of EHS professionals. I can't wait!
