About Julia Sequeira

Julia currently works as a Managing Climate Change Consultant in the Environment and Climate Change team at Corporate Citizenship. Her work focuses on supporting clients with TCFD and understanding the material climate risks they face and how to manage them, and on supporting clients to calculate their GHG footprint, and develop science-based targets in line with the SBTi, to work toward achieving net zero. Prior to joining Corporate Citizenship, Julia worked as a Climate Change Specialist for UNCDF Ghana. Her work focused on two of UNCDF's flagship initiatives: the Local Climate Adaptive Living Facility (LoCAL) and the Boosting Green Employment and Enterprise Opportunities in Ghana (GrEEn) Project. These programmes aimed to support the creation of sustainable and climate-resilient communities through the creation of green jobs for target beneficiaries - women, youth, returning migrants and micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. Julia has also worked for five years in the Sustainability and Climate Change team at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), and as a researcher with the Stockholm Environment Institute in the Climate Change, Disasters and Development cluster in Bangkok. She completed her MSc in Disasters, Adaptation & Development at King’s College London with Distinction.
