About Julia Thomas

Hi. My name is Julia Thomas and I am a recent graduate of the University of South Carolina in the Darla Moore School of Business. I have achieved my degree, magna cum laude- Bachelor of Science, Business Administration majoring in management, with a minor in hospitality management and a concentration in human resources. I have taken courses that have me well-rounded on the foundations of tourism and hospitality, as well as many business core classes, including but not limited to management, economics, and statistics. I would say my biggest strength is communication and that trait is something that I am very passionate about. Communication is what drives essentially everything in life, whether it's day-to-day interactions or a large business decision. Through my work experience, I have acquired additional skills such as customer service, leadership, responsibility, problem-solving, open-mindedness, etc. As much as I am a team player, I also know that taking authority, delegating tasks, or stepping in when necessary is critical. I am excited to be a part of the Beach Company where I will build on my current skills, as well as develop new skills that will help me grow in my personal and professional life.
