Julia Tranfaglia is a Los Angeles-based director and producer. She has led multi-unit productions, created multi-million-dollar brand content, and produced in a variety of mediums. Julia is a “local hire” for Los Angeles and Boston, where she is originally from, and occasionally New York if schedule permits. She previously worked as the Head of Production at Multihouse, a hybrid marketing and entertainment firm that works with a variety of world-renowned brands, studios, and networks. While there, she led their creative productions through the entire development to distribution process and fostered new client relations. She also pioneered many of their social impact efforts, including the ENGAGE program, which earned her a congressional award from Congressman Adam B. Schiff and a certificate of appreciation from the City of Los Angeles for her work aiding the unhoused during the COVID-19 pandemic. She continues to give back to her community by helping underprivileged youth as a member of the Assistance League of Los Angeles. Julia’s focus is on creating ethical and safe productions, exploring new mediums, and uplifting authentic voices to tell stories that resonate with an ever-changing audience. Julia is motivated by her passion to make a difference, believing that filmmaking as a means of storytelling has the power to encourage empathy and create change. She is committed to producing works that have a positive social impact or educational component.
