About Julia van Berkom

While my main focus is currently pursuing my MSc in Transport, Infrastructure, and Logistics, my heart will always be drawn to advocating for creativity and D&I. I believe science and art to be the two true beauties of this world, despite art often being underestimated. Growing up in a multicultural family has fueled my fascination with the beautiful differences among people. Since starting in university, this fascination has only deepened, especially when it comes to teamwork in diverse environments, as everyone needs a different stimulus. That's where art comes into play. It challenges individuals to broaden their horizons, surpassing the limits of what is considered "normal" or "good," and empowers them to collaborate on fresh, innovative solutions. I aim to bring a more creative perspective, strong communication, and fun to the workplace. Because I believe that is how we can thrive in business, make people flourish and enjoy it at the same time.
