About Julia Vydolob

I work as a creative director for Blue Store shopping platform, consult fashion brands as a partner at Dot Comms agency and write for my Telegram-channel "yes and no"(in Russian) and for my Substack "Fashion Notes From Tel Aviv"(in English). For the last 20 years I have been working as Editor in the best Russian independent media: Afisha and FOTTPAPER magazines as well as Look At Me website, now called Redefine. Fashion and its many facets became my main interest: from retail to magazines, from brands that define the industry to big corporate players, from key actors of the fashion scene to subcultures and communities. Along with Afisha, Look At Me and The Blueprint I contributed to Russian versions of Vogue, GQ Style and Harper's Bazaar as well as to The Business of Fashion. I also wrote a column for Aeroflot Style inflight magazine. For several years I worked for The Blueprint as its Chief Editor and later as Special Projects department Editor-in-Chief, created collaborations with brands, and in 2022 joined Blue Store, a shopping platform with curated selection of Russian brands and luxury resale. Me and my team at Dot Comms agency also consult fashion brands on marketing, content and PR.
