About Julia Wagner

As a program director for a sterile processing technology program, I am well-versed in developing curricula encompassing theoretical knowledge, hands-on skills training, and practical experience, all essential for producing competent sterile processing professionals. As a leader, I have successfully overseen the programs' design, launch, and continuous improvement. My experience managing two cohorts of students simultaneously, collaborating with industry partners, and maintaining standards has consistently resulted in positive student outcomes and program growth. Previously, I worked as a Certified Surgical First Assistant for 14 years, which allowed me to collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, contributing to successful surgical outcomes and improved patient experiences. Over the years, I have remained dedicated to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in surgical techniques, technology, and patient care protocols. I am currently in Grad School at the University of Florida, with an expected graduation date of August 2024
