About Julia Wallner

I am a people person, there is no denying it! I enjoy working with people and seeing them obtain their dreams, whether that means in finding the right home or growing in their career and promoting into bigger and better opportunities. My role the past 10 years has encompassed just that. I have worked in the research industry in project management, recruiting, hiring, on-boarding and training employees, some new to the workforce, others seasoned veterans. Prior to my tenure at Ipsos I was an event planner on both the supplier and client side of the business. This is where I learned of my passion for project management and the love of helping someone achieve success, whether that be in delivering a great keynote address, hosting a great social event or wedding reception or orchestrating a successful board meeting where important decisions are made. Bottom line: seeing people succeed and grow really is my PASSION and I believe that successful people lead to successful organizations. My varied background has helped me grow in many ways and gain opportunities that I believe are unique to me. During my career, I have: • Hired, trained, and mentored over 50 employees at various tenures. • Maintained a succession plan. • Merged two fully operational teams into one integrated organization. • Owned performance management and employee relations for 3 teams across North America. • Budgeted and managed operational profit. • Planned events on the executional and sales side. • Been creative and worked outside the box.
