About Julia Widdowson

During 2019 I moved from London to Melbourne where I have taken on the role of Regional Leader Victoria for the newly established Temple Australia, a sister company of the UK's leading environment, planning and sustainability consultancies. During my time in London, I worked within the EIA Infrastructure team delivering on major rail projects with much of my time spent focused on the HS2 Enabling Works. Prior to this, I worked as an Environmental Scientist at Golder Associates at their Melbourne office. I have proven experience across environmental impact assessments, environmental approvals and statutory regulations and licencing compliance. My skill set covers a wide range of disciplines including ecology, biosecurity, marine and freshwater sediment and water assessments, contaminated land assessments, groundwater monitoring and landfill gas. My experience of working on a variety of projects both domestically and internationally has provided a well-rounded set of field and reporting skills. Sectors that I have worked in include infrastructure, oil and gas, manufacturing, mining, and government.
