I am a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Psychology minor while also completing my Pre-PA prerequisite courses. To gain my patient care hours for PA school, I have worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital over the past 3 summers. While working there, I gained experience in hands-on patient care by performing vital signs on patients, charting patients' intakes, outputs, and vital signs on their charts using Soarian, and assisting on-floor nurses with any care they needed to provide to their patients. I have accepted a full-time position as an Advanced Clinical Associate at GoHealth Urgent Care in Hampton Bays where I plan to gain even more patient-care experience before I apply to PA school.
