About Julian Glover

I've had many goals and interests in my life and studied each to a certain degree i am now on a path towards my career in the field of marketing. Currently i am a full time student at the Art Institute of Seattle taking courses in Web design and interactive media. I have always had a passion for helping others which led me to years of volunteer and community work with the Youth and homeless. During this time i discovered a love for music and began to help others create their own which turned into an after school program for at risk youth. Participating in as many extra curricular activities as possible was my goal as i felt that would set me on the right path. Once i finished high school i worked closely with a mentor and friend learning how to write and apply for my own grants so i could finally get paid for the work i was doing. Many years of projects and work continued to follow even some awards and press appearances and with my new place in the music community i was managing artists and hosting events on the side. Working was never an issue i was always an impressive worker and received many promotions and raises in my time with warehousing and general labor employers but physical labor could not hold my interest. Trying to further my knowledge and influence among youth in the community i felt i needed to take more leadership type roles to be a proper role model for the youth and decided to join an initiative with other local community leaders to start a junior football team in a low income area. With this achieved i felt i was capable for more than just general labor jobs i want to now pursue a career in marketing where i feel i can find financial stability and continue my work with community development and use the skill i acquire in the future to pursuer my true goals.
