About Julian Sinclair

As assistant menswear designer at LEMAIRE, I support the creative process of developing and designing shirts and woven tops for the collections. I am involved in various tasks such as tracing patterns, sampling finishings, sewing prototypes, updating collection boards and technical files, and participating in meetings and fittings. I am passionate about creating subtle shapes and fabric manipulations that incorporate a form of surrealism and deconstruction. I previously completed positions as design intern for Lemaire's womenswear team and Ludovic de Saint Sernin after graduating with a bachelor's degree in fashion/apparel design from HES-SO Haute école spécialisée de Suisse occidentale (HEAD) in June 2023. I have gained a wide range of skills and experiences through my studies and work within all the maisons. I am fluent in English, French, and German, which enables me to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and clients.
