About Julie B.

My name is Jules and I'm a service focused individual from Chicago, where I graduated from DePaul University in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in psychology. For the last 16 years I've enjoyed a career as a mental health specialist and educator who has provided clients with direct support and resources in schools, homes, clinics, and community centers. 🧑‍ Although I appreciate the opportunities I've had to gain experience working with people of all ages, abilities, and mental health conditions, I've found the most sustainable joy when I'm supported by a team of caring coworkers who all contribute to a healthy workplace environment. Currently I live in Pueblo, Colorado and work full time in Colorado Springs as a Senior Therapist at PlayDate Behavioral Interventions, a nonprofit whose mission and values align with my own. On the weekends, I'm self-employed as a multi-media artist and registered yoga instructor.
