This is what you want (and need!) in a marketing leader - someone with the natural instinct to tug when they see threads and the conviction to take action on what they find."- I learned what good looks like at F100 B2B tech companies @Red Hat and Oracle. I learned what scrappy looks like while leading marketing for a VC-backed, 40-person Silicon Valley startup ultimately acquired by SanDisk. In 2015, recruited to join VC-backed Axiom Law for the $150M-$400M revenue climb, I built the company's first product marketing function, eventually leading the marketing function through a CEO transition. I witnessed firsthand the maturing of the agile talent economy. In 2019, Axiom and the spinoff legaltech companies I helped productize and market sold for a combined value of nearly $1B. Convinced that companies of all sizes and stages benefit from senior, specialized talent and motivated by the frustrations of the FTE model experienced by both employees and employers, I launched my fractional Chief Marketing Officer practice in 2019. Over the past 5 years I've built a thriving fractional Marketing and Strategy practice working primarily with B2B companies of all sizes, often investor-backed or founder-led. My 25+ graduated clients value the ability to add seasoned, objective go-to-market expertise to their leadership teams without making a full-time hire.
