About Julie Clancy
Julie Eckert Clancy is the owner of Jophiel, a women’s fine clothier at Covington Plaza in Fort Wayne. She has been in the fashion retail industry for over 25 years; the first seven in Chicago on the Magnificent Mile, and then moving to Fort Wayne in 1994 to open Jophiel. She is a successful fashion entrepreneur, and Jophiel is one of the few women’s specialty stores in the country of its size and volume. In 2011, Julie became the Fashion Editor/Coordinator for Fort Wayne Living Magazine, beginning with the Aug/.Oct. 2011 issue. She has studied professional attire for the workplace for both men and women, and presents in-store seminars for customers on topics ranging from current trends and how to wear them, how to pack and wardrobes for traveling, closet organization, to social and professional attire. In addition, she conducts workshops for local corporations, and presentations and fashion events for local organizations and nonprofit fundraisers.
