About Julie Funkey
Originally from Minnesota, I'm a graduate from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a degree in Communication with an emphasis in professional writing. After college I moved to the "sunshine state" and worked as a Beauty Adviser at Estee Lauder. I then moved into working in advertising and marketing, yet still always had a love for the cosmetic world. In 2011 I decided to take a risk and start my own business as an on-site makeup artist. Using my sales and marketing background; I used every online outlet to market my business and soon became very busy as a makeup artist for weddings, special events, photo shoots, television and film. I’m currently in school to become a licensed Esthetician. I am passionate about what I do and it reflects in the way I run my own business and the relationships I build with my customers/clients. I would love the opportunity to work in a growing industry and thrive in a busy work environment.
