As Executive Director for the Upper Plains Area at the American Cancer Society, I lead strategic development operations across five states—Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana, and Wyoming. With over 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience, I specialize in turning big visions into measurable impact by building high-performing teams, mobilizing communities, and cultivating relationships that fuel transformational giving. Throughout my career, I’ve led multimillion-dollar campaigns, merged and restructured teams for greater efficiency, and expanded mission-critical services like free patient lodging and transportation. My most energizing work happens at the intersection of strategy, partnerships, and purpose—where complex challenges turn into sustainable solutions. Some of the results I’m most proud of: • Executed the successful merger of two regional teams into a unified Upper Plains Area, launching a shared strategic plan to double market revenue • Built cross-state major gift and corporate fundraising pipelines that support long-term growth • Led the creation of a five-state “mega event” strategy, boosting event revenue in key cities year over year • Closed a $10M capital campaign to fund Hope Lodge Nebraska, while later establishing reserve and endowment funds for future sustainability My leadership philosophy is rooted in collaboration, coaching, and delivering results that align with mission.
