About Julie Hellenbosch

I am an EU policy and funding expert, with extensive knowledge of EU research, innovation and education funding programmes. After working 9 years in managerial and pedagogical roles in higher education, I specialised in international relations and bid management from 2019. I am enthusiastic about all the steps involved in bid writing, from understanding the added value of the client, researching the topic, finding an original angle, to matching it with specific EU programme priorities; from gathering an efficient consortium to drafting the budget and elaborating the proposal, keeping in mind the evaluators’ expectations. In the last 3 years, I have supported international university consortia in securing euros through Erasmus+ and bilateral funding schemes. I would be keen on contributing my skills to higher education projects, and in doing so, paving the way to the European digital and ecological transition.
