About Julie Hubay

I'm a Processor for the Chat, Email & Social Media Team at Progressive Insurance. In this role, I create and edit communications that will go out to Progressive clients. I also research group processes, and lead corporate initiatives and team builders. The best part of my position to date has been training on new products and working with the team and business leaders to create initiatives and goals. I also love working with clients to figure out solutions to their inquiries, and the best way to effectively communicate with each individual customer. I'm lucky to work with such an amazing team. In addition to the work I do for Progressive, I also am a freelance editor. I review and edit submissions for content, storyline and grammatical accuracy. I also regularly meet with the writers to discuss changes and edits. Before joining the Chat, Email & Social Media Team, I worked in the servicing department of Progressive: analyzing policies, servicing customers, meeting corporate metrics and promoting the company. I also led presentations (topics included promotional offers and internal careers) and team events (I created activities and systems for data tracking). Prior to working at Progressive, I served as an Office Manager. Being the head administrative person for a small business made me learn how to balance detailed tasks (such as creating reports and organizing marketing events), big-picture plans (such as company goals and strategy) and the required tasks that made the operation run smoothly (filing, organizing the calendar, reaching out to prospective clients). I held a similar role previously at an elder law attorney's office, where I organized events, created communications and served as a liaison between the company and the community.
